Lorraine Connelly Northey
Lorraine Connelly Northey creates incredible work. "Narrbong," meaning "a pouch of a marsupial," is part of the permanent collection of the Ararat Regional Art Gallery. It is made of found bed springs, a metal rod, and wire.

Packing up, getting ready for the journey to Australia!
In just a few short days, I will be on my way. The very best part will be visiting with friends. Another best part is the opportunity to teach in the Grampian Mountains, in Canberra, and in the Blue Mountains.
The classes in the Grampians are full..... but there are openings in some of the others:
The Hexagonal Weave Class will be held at Straithnairn Arts, near Canberra,
on 21 and 22 March.
Contact Ann McMahon to register-ann.mcmahon@belconnenartscentre.com.au
ContextArt is held in the Blue Mountains, near Sydney, on 11-16 April.
I am offering two workshops: Cathead Baskets and Surface and Shape.
I look forward to seeing all my Australian friends.....
